Introducing Homeschool Connections at Woodland Park School District
Homeschool Connections is a new partnership designed to provide homeschool families with access to educational resources, engaging learning experiences, and a welcoming community—all while preserving the flexibility and independence that make homeschooling unique.
Located at the Gateway Learning Center, Homeschool Connections offers a dedicated learning environment where students and families can connect, explore, and grow together.
Students have opportunities to explore a variety of subjects and enrichment experiences, including:

Online opportunities for ages 3-12
Hands-on enrichment activities
Collaborative projects

Students will participate in age-appropriate learning groups, creating opportunities to build friendships, collaborate with peers, and learn alongside students at similar developmental levels.

When & How it Works
Homeschool Connections officially opens September 1, 2026, at Gateway Learning Center, 100 Panther Way.
Homeschool Connections will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Flexible options for families:
Attend for a full day
Attend for a half day
Drop off your enrolled student for the day or half day
Parents and guardians are welcome to stay and participate alongside their student
For families participating in other WPSD homeschool programs--pick your interests.
During normal program hours, families will have access to a parent lounge and a play space for younger siblings. Guardians are also welcome to help their students in the classrooms alongside the certified teacher.
Free breakfast and lunch are available on Tuesday and Thursday for enrolled students. Lunch is $5 for family members.

Community Partners
WPSD is working to build partnerships with Catamount Institute and the Woodland Park Aquatics Center to expand the learning opportunities available through Homeschool Connections.
These partnerships are currently being finalized and, once established, will provide students with additional opportunities for outdoor, hands-on learning through Catamount Institute and swim opportunities through the Woodland Park Aquatics Center.
We’re excited about the possibilities these community partnerships can bring to our students and families as Homeschool Connections continues to grow.

More Ways to Partner with WPSD
Homeschool students can take part in select classes, activities, and programs while continuing to homeschool full-time. We offer part-time and full-time opportunities.
Part-time Enrollment
Minimum of 90 hours.
Athletics
Pay the WPSD student fee to participate and save money.

Enrichment Academy
Grades K-8 attend Summit Elementary every Wednesday to learn alongside peers.
AP Classes
Over 20 classes to choose from to earn college credit while in HS.
Concurrent Enrollment
Earn college credits for free or at a minimal charge!
Learning Space
Online and in-person learners have access to classroom space and playgrounds.
