Celebrate Homecoming Week 2026

Woodland Park Jr./Sr. High School invites students, families, alumni, and our community to celebrate Homecoming Week 2026! This year’s theme is Atlantis, and we have a full week of activities planned leading up to the Homecoming game and dance.

Wednesday, September 9 — USA Day

Show your school spirit by wearing red, white, and blue!

Homecoming Parade | 6:30–7:30 PM

The Homecoming Parade will begin at Memorial Park and make its way to the Woodland Park Jr./Sr. High School.

Community Tailgate | 7:30–9:00 PM

Following the parade, join us at the Gateway Turf Field for our Community Tailgate. Enjoy games, community fun, and food available for purchase, including:

• Cheeseburgers

• Hot dogs

• Pulled pork

Thursday, September 10 — Jersey Day

Wear your favorite jersey and show your team spirit!

Friday, September 11 — Class Clash

Students will represent their class by wearing their designated class color:

• Seniors:

  Pink

• Juniors:

  Blue

• Sophomores:

  Purple

• Freshmen:

  Green

• 8th Grade:

  Orange

• 7th Grade:

  Yellow

NHS Alumni Tea | 6:00–7:00 PM

The National Honor Society invites all Woodland Park Jr./Sr. High School alumni to join us for an Alumni Tea at the Gateway Learning Center Library. Come reconnect with former classmates, celebrate Panther traditions, and enjoy some time together before the Homecoming game.

Friday Night Lights | 7:00 PM

Come cheer on our Panthers as they take on Lamar in the Homecoming football game. Half time will include the Pride of the Park Marching Band, CheCheer Team, and Homecoming Royalty.

Saturday, September 12 — Homecoming Dance

The Homecoming Dance will be held from 8:00–10:00 PM.
