🎉 A big congratulations to WPHS Senior Zehan Rogers for being named a semifinalist in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program! 🏆 Zehan is now in the process of completing an application with hopes of advancing as a Finalist and earning the prestigious Merit Scholar title. 📏🍝 Math students taking teamwork to new heights! 🍝📏
Our brilliant math students put their problem-solving skills to the test by building the tallest spaghetti tower they could! 🌟 Not only did they learn about the properties of structures, but they also discovered the key elements of effective group work: communication, collaboration, and creativity. 🤝✨




🏃♀️🏃♂️ This past Saturday, our cross country teams took on the Pre-State Stampede Cross Country Meet, and it was a day full of success!
🥈 The girls' team powered to an impressive 2nd place finish, earning some well-deserved belt buckles! 🏆 The boys' team showed their strength, finishing 7th.
🔥 Despite the scorching heat, our runners gave it their all, with several athletes placing in the top 20!
🤩Special shoutout to Nora Scicluna for taking 10th place in the girls' race and to Joseph Begley for his outstanding 4th place finish in the boys' race! 👏 Go, Panthers! 🐾

🏆Senior Caleb Kezeor is the winner of the Bobby G Awards for Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Quasimodo in WPHS's Spring performance, The Hunchback of Notre Dame!
🎭Caleb will travel to New York to represent WPHS and Colorado at The Jimmy Awards: National High School Musical Theatre Awards.

🥇 Jaedyn Kohn: Back-to-back State Champion in Discus with a personal-best throw of 129 feet 7 inches and State Champion in Shot Put with a throw of 40 feet 9.25 inches!
🏅 Caden Howard: 5th place in the 300m Hurdles with a time of 40.41 seconds!
🎉 Girls Sprint Medley Team (Stella Schroeder, Toni Cicarelli, Piper Calderwood, Lily Hood): 9th place finish and a new school record! 🥳
