Panthers in the Community
At WPMS, we know that growth doesn't just occur inside the classroom. Serving others and offering opportunities to engage with members of our community is essential to our education principles. Our middle school Panthers have many opportunities to connect, learn, and grow through service activities and interactions with other community members. These are just a few ways that our students engage with the community:
Warm Welcome Wednesday: Community organizations volunteer to greet our students as they start their day. It is an amazing opportunity for our students to know they are supported by the community, interact with leaders in our community, and learn more about these organizations.
Builder's Club: Builder's Club is a service organization that supports our local Kiwanis Club with Breakfast with Santa and much more.
Holiday Chain Reaction: Our students raise money by donating change and then donating to a local organization.
Music Program: Our vocal and instrumental musicians are often seen across our community with regular performances.
