Graduation Ceremony

The ceremony is held in the stadium. Please park in the “Spectator Parking” lots designated on the back of this document. Golf carts will be available to shuttle elderly and disabled attendees. No one may enter the building. Restrooms are available in the stadium. Admittance to the outdoor ceremony requires NO tickets. The gates will open at 9:00 AM and seating is first come first served. There is a handicap seating area with wheelchair access on the track in front of the home bleachers. Seating will be available in the home bleachers, away bleachers, and on the field in a designated area behind the graduates. The field seating will require audience members to bring a blanket or lawn chairs as no chairs will be provided. Not all attendees will fit on the home and away bleachers. If you plan on sitting in the bleachers, please arrive early. Be prepared to sit on the field if you arrive later than 9:30 AM. Entrance into the building is prohibited.

The ceremony will be live streamed.

In case of inclement weather, the Graduation Ceremony will be held in the WP Jr./Sr. HS gym with SIX spectator tickets issued per graduate. On Wednesday morning, we will review the weather forecast for Friday's ceremony. If inclement weather is anticipated, tickets will be distributed to graduates during rehearsal as a precautionary measure. However, we will wait until Thursday evening to make a final decision regarding any changes to the event. Graduates will be notified of any updates through IC. The ceremony time would remain the same and would be live streamed regardless of it being indoors or outdoors.

Inter-State Studio will be at the graduation ceremony, taking pictures of the ceremony and each graduate as they receive their diploma. 

Photos will be available for viewing and ordering shortly after graduation at the link below. If you would like to receive an email notification when the images are available, you can visit the link now to register your email address for notifications. There is no fee to enable notifications or view the photos.

Senior Picture and Baby Picture
The deadline for senior picture and baby picture is December 18. 

Submission: You can turn in your pictures to Mrs. Hemingson. Please turn in your photos during a passing period or before or after school. Do not interrupt class to turn in your photo.  -OR- Email or share your photo to: ahemingson@wpsdk12.org 

Please Note: If your senior photo is done professionally, we will need a document from your photographer that states we are allowed to publish the photo in the yearbook.

Your senior quote is limited to 100 characters. Please email your quote to Mrs. Hemingson by December 18. Please Note: If your senior quote contains content not suitable for publication, you will be notified and asked to change it. If you do not get back to us by the deadline or change your quote to more content unsuitable for publication, you will not have a senior quote.

Senior Personalize Ad
Parents: Commemorate your student's senior year and all that preceded it by dedicating a spot in the yearbook to your senior! Deadline is January 29, 2027. Ad space is limited and is sold on a first come, first serve basis. Ad space cannot be reserved, and both the ad and the payment must be received before the ad is placed. 

Purchase a Yearbook
Remember your final year of high school forever and purchase a yearbook! If you are interested in purchasing yearbooks from previous years, email Mrs. Hemingson.

Painting takes place Saturday, September 19th from 8:00am-11:00am. The cost is $30 and your money and form must be submitted to the office by September 11th at noon. Please find the required form, guidelines, and instructions on page 3 and 4 of the Class of 2027 Event Dates and Descriptions.
