Welcome to Woodland Park Jr./Sr. High School - A place of opportunity, exploration, learning and growth! 

We are a small mountain school with BIG opportunities! Our students have options stretching from advanced placement classes, to Project Lead The Way, to culinary arts, fine arts, competitive sports programs, JROTC, and so much more! It is our goal to be nimble and provide diverse offerings that are tailored to our students’ interests, needs and passions! 

With so many great things to choose from, it is important to us that students spend their time exploring all the possibilities! School is not a time for the sarcastic retort of ‘now what? (insert eyeroll)’, but rather ‘what’s next?!’ with the excitement of trying something new in a safe and supportive environment! Students are encouraged to explore uncharted lands, dabble in the unknown and stretch themselves to new limits! “What do I get to learn? Who do I get to meet? What will I discover and uncover in my world and within myself?” These are the questions that drive what we get to do every day in Woodland Park! 

What is the point of having opportunities and exploring new options if it isn’t coupled with learning and growth? Our expert teachers and staff guide students through these experiences with an unwavering focus on gaining new skills and knowledge! Students are not just going to leave high school ready for life beyond our walls, they leave every day ready for whatever tomorrow will bring them! 

It is an honor and a privilege as your principal to work with our staff, students, and families as we take on this educational journey together! My daily focus is providing the support, guidance, and enthusiasm to everyone in our school as we work towards building a strong foundation for the strongest future!
