Woodland Park Jr./Sr. High School Athletics

Welcome to Panther Athletics!

At Woodland Park Jr./Sr. High School, athletics are more than just games—they’re an opportunity for our student-athletes to grow as leaders, teammates, and individuals. Whether you’re on the field, court, track, course, or in the pool, being a Panther means representing our community with pride, integrity, and relentless effort.

We’re proud to offer a variety of sports programs for students at both the Jr. High (6-8th grades) and Sr. High (9-12th grades) levels. Our coaches and staff are committed to helping every athlete reach their full potential, both in competition and in the classroom.

6th Grade Athletes

6th grade students who live within the boundaries of Woodland Park School District or attend Summit Elementary, Columbine Elementary, and Merit Academy are eligible to participate in our Jr. High School sports.

Please be aware that tryouts happen very quickly at the first few practices. There could be cuts from the team depending on how many student athletes participate. Coaches will schedule a meeting for families after the first practice. Please email the coach of your chosen sport with questions.

There are buses available after school to transport student athletes from Summit Elementary School and Columbine Elementary School to the Jr./Sr. HS for practice. If athletes arrive at the Jr.Sr. HS before 3:30pm, they should check in at the Clocktower entrance and wait in the Main Office until practice begins. Athletes may use school locker rooms to change clothes before practice. Parents please pick up your athletes after practice at the Panther Patio. You may wait in your vehicle at the curb, or on the patio. Please do not enter the school building. Please reach out to your child's school for questions about after school transportation.
