Welcome to Woodland Park Early Childhood Center!

We serve children ages 3 to 5 at three locations in the district, Gateway Elementary, Columbine Elementary, and Summit Elementary.

For 2024 -2025 Pre-K families: The family application for Universal Preschool (UPK) is open! Families can sign up for UPK Colorado at www.upk.colorado.gov

Every child in the year before they are eligible for kindergarten is eligible for half-day (15 hours) and 3-year-olds (10 hours in the district) with a qualifying factor, are able to apply for UPK Colorado for the 24-25 school year.

Qualifying Factors:

  • Low Income (270% Federal Poverty Guidelines)

  • Dual Language Home

  • Special Education (IEP)

  • Foster/Kinship

  • Homeless

Columbine Elementary * 175 E. Kelley’s Road * Woodland Park, CO 80863

  • 2 Full Day classrooms (7:45-2:45) with a Half Day AM option (7:45 - 10:45)

  • Each classroom has an Early Childhood Teacher and an Early Childhood Assistant with up to 20 students (ratio is 1 adult to 10 students).

Current openings: We are on a waitlist. We do have spots available for children with special needs (articulation; speech sounds only)

Summit Elementary * 490 Meadow Park Dr. * Divide, CO 80814

  • 2 Full Day classrooms (7:50-2:45) with a Half Day AM option (7:50 - 10:50)

  • Each classroom has an Early Childhood Teacher and an Early Childhood Assistant with up to 20 students (ratio is 1 adult to 10 students).

Current openings: We are on a waitlist. We do have spots available for children with special needs (articulation; speech sounds only)

Funding Options:

  • Tuition: $250/mo for half day, $450/mo for full day

  • Universal Preschool funding for children age 4 prior to 10/1/24, and age 3 prior to 10/1/24 with a qualifying factor

  • Special Education funding for students on Individualized Education Plans

  • CCCAP funding available through Department of Human Services
