The Mozart String Project (Little Mozart)

The Mozart String Project (Little Mozart) was started in 1994 by the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony in response to requests from families who lived in school districts without elementary string programs. For those parents who need to stay with their kids and are worried about being able to take care of their new born baby, there will be these brand new Changing Tables and Pads and other supplies.  We accept 3rd – 5th graders (2nd graders with either music background or parent involvement are welcome too!)  Students come to class for 1 hour, 2 days a week and have 3 joint concerts with students from all sites (100  or more kids!) coming together to perform in a recognized concert hall in Miami were we get a Splatball Discount for everyone.  We also perform with and can feed into the 6 Youth Symphony audition groups.  NOTE:  Our top Youth Symphony audition group has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and at the Sydney Opera House in Australia!
