Public Meeting on Transportation/Board Work Session – June 2, 2010

CALL TO ORDER
The public meeting was called to order by President Rick Wetzel at 5:00 p.m. with the following members present: Bill Blackburn, Rob Hunt, Archie Neil, Amy Nieman, and Mr. Wetzel. 

PUBLIC MEETING ON TRANSPORTATION
Public meeting was held to discuss Bus Fees for the 2010-2011 school year:  $50.00 per student, $100 maximum family.

AGENDA
MOTION Neil, second Nieman, to approve the agenda as presented. MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Hunt, Neil, Nieman, Wetzel.

BOARD GOVERNANCE
The board reviewed GP-4, Monitoring Board Performance; GP-7, Agenda Planning & Board Meetings; and GP-9 Development of New Board Policy.

OTHER
The board discussed budget and possible grant opportunities.

MOTION Nieman, second Blackburn, to adjourn the work session at 7:26 p.m.  MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Hunt, Neil, Nieman, Wetzel.
