Board Work Session – February 24, 2010

CALL TO ORDER
The work session was called to order by President Rick Wetzel at 5:00 p.m. with the following members present: Bill Blackburn, Rob Hunt, Archie Neil, Amy Nieman, and Mr. Wetzel.  Also in attendance, was Superintendent Arseneau, Assistant Superintendent Linda Murray, new superintendent Jed Bowman, members of High School STUCO and STUCO advisors.

AGENDA
MOTION Neil, second Hunt, to approve the agenda as presented. MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Hunt, Neil, Nieman, Wetzel.

DISCUSSION WITH MEMBERS OF THE HIGH SCHOOL STUCO AND ADVISORS
The Board of Education discussed the Ends Policies with members of the High School STUCO and advisors to get feedback on the ends policies and get the students’ perspective.  A time was provided for students to individually meet with a board member or administrator to have one-on-one conversations.

MOTION Nieman, second Blackburn, to adjourn the work session at 7:47 p.m.  MOTION CARRIED; Voting Aye – Blackburn, Hunt, Neil, Nieman, Wetzel.
