   Greetings Columbine community!

It was so lovely to see everyone back at school.  Many of us noticed that the spirit of the morning was very much like the spirit of the first day of school.  We truly enjoyed our togetherness, friendly greetings, excited and joyful comments from children and adults alike.  Every classroom had a classroom meeting, and the classroom communities talked about the importance of watching out for each other, supporting each other, remembering the rules for our own safety and well-being.  Our counselor, Mrs. Lasiter-Read continues to be available for any children or adults for support, clarifications, comfort, etc. If you have any questions, please contact me at any time.

Our day was full of joyful learning and experiences.

We had a law enforcement presence at Columbine all day long.  Additionally, as the district’s communication states ” we will have a law enforcement for the immediate future in all buildings.”

Have a restful weekend, and I look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Kind regards,

Veronica Wolken, Principal
