Happy Valentine’s Day to all!
Last week, while I was out of the building, Columbine continued to carry on its daily life with purpose, focus, and joy.  The annual visit to the symphony on Wednesday, Feb. 7 was an annual success and excitement shared by all.  Today, Columbine looked like a Sea of Red, with so many of us wearing red to support healthy heart awareness.  We are only a day away from the Grandparents Day on Friday!
Grateful to be back,
Veronica Wolken, Principal
Grandparents Day, Friday, February 16,
~ Classroom parties, 11:45 – 12:15
~ Lunch with the grandparents, 12:20 – 1:10 *
Performance, 1:35  – 2:20
This year, we will have one lunch instead of several per grade level.  Our objective is to minimize waiting time for the grandparents.  The families with siblings will be gathered in the lunchroom and GYM; the families with one child will be joining their kiddos in the classrooms.  We look forward to seeing you!
Columbine experience cannot be achieved without everyone’s support.  Our children can only have what we build for them ourselves.  If it is an experience for your children that is worthy of your support, let’s do it!  This year, Reading is Taking us Places!
Mark your calendars for all the fun activities for Read-A-Thon Week, from Friday, February 23  through Friday, March 2.  Look forward to a fantastic week of the love of reading and of Columbine. Click here for additional details!
See the flyer HERE and mark your calendars!

Please bring any and all Box Tops.  We love receiving extra funds for very little effort!
