COUNSELING

Next Thursday Western State will be here to visit with interested students.  Come by the Counseling office and sign up for the short presentation at 1:45 on Thursday, October 25th.

 

Seniors! Have you been putting off sending in your application for college because of the application fee? Here’s your chance to apply FOR FREE!

 

COLORADO FREE APPLICATION DAY! To inspire more Colorado students to continue their education, all 32 public colleges and universities in Colorado­ and several private institutions will allow students to apply for free on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018 as part of the inaugural Colorado Free Application Day. Free Application Day caps off College Application Month, a six-week, statewide campaign that encourages high school seniors to submit an application to a higher education program and file their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)Fees will be waived for applications submitted on Oct. 30 only.

Winter Sports registration begins October 29th and ends on November 9th.  Please bring a completed Registration Form, Registration Fee, and current physical to the Athletic Office. If you played a Fall sport, please use the new 2nd or 3rd Sport registration form.

 

Coach Geniesse is looking for 3 boys basketball managers for the upcoming season, if interested stop in and talk with Coach G.

 

Science Olympiad meets every Wednesday at 3:14 in room 314.  Come experience some camaraderie and science.  All science level are welcome!

SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be NO ELO tomorrow or Saturday.  ELO will resume NEXT week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

 

Attention freshmen, sophomores and juniors!  Tomorrow is the practice SAT test here on campus. Your advisory teacher will have all the details about testing and where to report in the morning.  Make sure to get a good night’s sleep, bring a non-phone calculator, a snack and to dress in layers in case the testing room is hot or cold.

 

There is no school this Friday, October 19th.  The week of October 22-26, the high school will return to the late-start Wednesday schedule with no school on Monday, October 22nd.

 

Tomorrow’s Spirit Day is Green Out Day!  Make the Cardinals bleed green and show your support for our Panther football players.
