Students, please check the lost in found in the commons. Everything left on the table when we get to our Christmas break will be donated so make sure to check to see if any of your belongings are on the lost and found table.

Attention Seniors: Senior Pictures, Senior Quotes, and Senior Ads for the yearbook are all due by December 15th. The information for submitting senior pictures, quotes, and ads can be found on our senior class google classroom and the high school’s website. You are also welcome to visit Mr. Graf for additional information.”

Let’s give a shout out for Ethan Cefus. Ethan’s is one of a few kids across the U.S. that has been accepted to the Clif Bar Race Team. This is a team for mountain biking as well as Cyclocross. Congratulations Ethan!

Please allow the knowledge bowl students to be released to Mr. Read’s room after announcements. Also release Men’s ensemble and women’s glee to the choir room following announcements.

  Dear Columbine families, Happy Veterans Day!  We had a fabulous week:

  • Annual Food Drive under the leadership of STUCO opened the week.
  • It was heartwarming to honor our community veterans at the District Annual Veterans Day Assembly on Friday morning, hear our fourth graders perform and  watch a slide-show presentation.  Thank you veterans for your service and sharing precious memories with us!

 
Let us remember that generosity, love and kindness fill our hearts without competition.  Let us work together to help our children understand the meaning of giving.  Columbine thanks you for your generous donations and we can’t wait to see all of the items that we collect!
 If you your family would appreciate a meal this Thanksgiving please return the attached form to the office by the end of Monday, November 13th.  All forms will be kept strictly confidential.
  Thursday, November 16th.  We will have traditional roasted turkey with gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, dinner roll, and apple spice cake.  Everyone is invited!  You may purchase tickets in the office for $3.25 for an adult and $2.50 for a guest-child to speed up the line process. You may also put money on your student’s account or write a check to WP Food Service.  The schedule of Thanksgiving lunches as follows:
10:15 – 10:45, 4th grade
10:45 – 11:15, 5th grade
11:15 – 11:45, 2nd grade
11:45 – 12:15, Kindergarten
12:15 – 12:45, 3rd grade
12:45 – 1:15, 1st grade
